Stripe and Square terminate accounts for "high-risk" healthcare categories — peptide clinics, weight loss, behavioral health — with no warning. ClearVisit runs on Braintree and Finix, processors with approved MCCs for these categories. We also include insurance verification and a clinic-specific onboarding flow Stripe doesn't offer.
What do I need to get started?
Basic practice info: clinic name, NPI, contact details, and a bank account for payouts. The onboarding takes 2 minutes. Processor sub-merchant setup runs automatically in the background — typically approved same day.
How do patient payment links work?
You generate a link from your dashboard with a dollar amount and optional patient note. The link opens a clean branded checkout page — no app download, no patient login required. Patient picks card or ACH, pays, done. You see confirmation instantly.
Does ClearVisit support insurance billing?
ClearVisit currently supports real-time eligibility verification (copay amounts, deductible status) across major payers. Direct claim submission (837P) is on the roadmap. For now, we focus on self-pay and copay collection — the revenue that gets lost most often.
How quickly do funds arrive?
Same-day settlement for card payments in most cases. ACH transfers follow standard bank processing timelines (1–2 business days). No artificial holds beyond processor requirements.
What specialties are supported?
